We lead forest walks throughout the Greater Kansas City area, including Olathe, Lawrence, Gardner, Paola, Overland Park, and more. We are a collaborative group and often attend each other’s sessions.

    Sarah Cain is a forest therapy guide and leadership coach that helps business owners and leaders find clarity, get (and stay!) energized, and make a sustainable positive impact in the world.

    She is an Associate Credentialed Coach (ACC) through the International Coaching Federation, a Brain Science Certified Coach, and a Certified Forest Therapy Guide through the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy. She often says that while a coaching session is a structured time to “think,” forest therapy is a structured time to “not think” — an important balance that we all need!

    Shannon Gorres, MDiv, MA, is a certified nature and forest therapy guide with ANFT. She has led hundreds of groups in discovering the beauty of their internal and external landscapes and their healing connections. In counseling, she supports stressed individuals (often with anxiety, anger, or existential woes) shift into more integrative and loving relationships with a greater sense of worth, fulfillment, and belonging. She offers embodied spiritual practices, guided meditation and imagery, nervous system science and trauma-healing techniques. A mother, poet, and queer, she is deeply embracing a hurting world and mending the ruptures that deter us from knowing divine love.

    MC Rose is a Park Naturalist at Ernie Miller Nature Center in Johnson County, Kansas, where she creates engaging programs that connect people of all ages to nature, history, and science. With a background in environmental education, interpretation, and outdoor recreation, MC specializes in immersive storytelling, hands-on learning, and community-centered programming ranging from forest therapy walks and wildlife education to astronomy and pop-culture-inspired events.

    She holds an MBA in Marketing from Northwest Missouri State University and is a certified Nature and Forest Therapy Guide through the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy, as well as a Wilderness First Responder through NOLS Wilderness Medicine. MC is passionate about making nature accessible, meaningful, and memorable for everyone.
